Multicultural Greek Exhibtion (MGX)
Beta Omicron Chapter hosted its annual Multicultural Greek Exhibition where the Multicultural Greek Organizations gather to bring light to the unheard voices of minorities by giving them space to showcase their traditions such as saluting, strolling, stepping, and dancing, which encompass their unique Greek customs.
National Voter Registration Event
The sisters of Beta Omicron Chapter worked on educating the U of M community on the importance of voting, the significance of advocating for marginalized communities, and the power in activism.
Pa'lante
The Sisters & Siblings of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. and the Brothers of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc.hosted Pa'lante, a free 1-day orientation program for incoming students. They welcomed incoming students, family members, faculty and staff members.
Día de los Muertos Ball
The Sisters of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. hosts an annual Día de los Muertos Ball. It is a night of Latine food, music, and dancing as well as the opportunity to learn about the history and importance of this traditional holiday celebrated all across Latin America!
I Stand with Immigrants: Day of Action
The Sisters of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. and the Student Community of Progressive Empowerment (SCOPE) hosted an event to spread awareness and an opportunity for the U of M community to express why they stand with immigrants.
Día Latino
The Sisters of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. and the brothers of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. hosted Día Latino. With the help of guest speakers and workshops throughout the day we were able to teach high school students what it is like to be a minority on campus.
Diag Stroll Off
Sisters competed in the diag stroll off hosted by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. at the University of Michigan. Their hard work and dedication paid off, winning first place and raising over one thousand dollars for St. Jude!
DoRAK's Goodness Day
Sisters participated in DoRACK's Goodness Day event at the Diag handing out special treats with positive messages to students!
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service
The sisters of Beta Omicron Chapter participated in the University's annual MLK Day of Service and took part in various service projects at sites across Ann Arbor and Detroit to honor the memory of King.
Give Thanks Walk
Sisters raised funds for and participated in the St. Jude Give Thanks Walk in Ann Arbor, MI in an effort to join in the fight to end childhood cancer forever.
Letters to Veterans
Sisters of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc., alongside the brothers of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc., held a card making station to write letters to Veterans during the Holidays.
Michigan Phenom Show
Sister performed at the Michigan Phenom Show hosted by the brothers of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. to celebrate a variety of cultures at the University of Michigan and help bring awareness and raise funds for the Lymphoma and Lukemia Society.
